i've just bought a new macbook pro i5 last week, and sometimes (happened to me last two days) it can't type, it's like my keyboard doesn't work, so i can't reply any conversation. i wonder maybe macbook pro has some kind of lock or setting to lock/unlock keyboard?
thank you for trying to help

Not to my knowledge.
"Details" means: What version of Mac OS X are you using? What application is active when this occurs -- Safari? iChat? Do all keys stop functioning, or are there some which still work, eg, the function keys, or the arrow keys? What happens if you use touchpad or mouse to switch to another app, eg, TextEdit? Can you type in that one? And so on.
And did you check if Mouse Keys are on, as described in the Apple KB item above?
