So I just preordered the iPhone 5 my AT&T account has my po box as my mailing address. Apple doesn't send to po boxes. The order went through though? What do I do?

    Did you order from AT&T or from Apple?

    If you ordered from Apple, contact Apple Online Store at 1-800-MY-APPLE. Ask the IVR for "AOS" and then explain the situation to the Advisor who answers. If they can't assist you, they should be able to transfer you to a Sales Support Advisor who might be able to change the address for you, since the order has already been placed. The best bet for the future is to order via AT&T's Customer Care if you need it shipped to an address other than that on file. When you use the Upgrade Eligibility tool on the Apple Online Store, it seems to pull the address across from AT&T in the process, and locks your shipping address to that without allowing you to change it during the order process.

     

    If you ordered it from AT&T, just give them a call, and they should be able to correct the address.

    If you pre-ordered from AT&T you cannot make changes during the pre-order time period. Before the iPhone 5 ships you will get a confirmation email, at that time you can make the address change. I'm not sure about Apple's policy. As always it is best to first check with who ever you ordered from.
