Q: almost the same with mine but it doesnt do anything. how do i fix that?

I reacently found a nano 1g it was the best mp3 even if it was 7 years old. It worked pefectly with my windows vista. Im not a fan of apple. they tend to freeze alot ,but i was

inpressed with this device. It worked good for the two months. One day i put it in the charger for a hour. I went to start it up but nothing it wouldnt start. I thought it was junk.

On my pc i searched junk ipod wanted. Turns out apple has a recall for those suckers. Anyone have a solution to this before i send my ipod nano to apple?

    A first generation?

    If so,

Be careful with the 1st gen.  There was a huge issue with the batteries.  A while back, if I remember right, these nano batteries would explode... I would suggest contacting Apple Support via phone.  From what I know they have swapped out these 1st gens for a more recent ipod.  Let me know how that works for you.
