So, odd issue that I can't seem to track down other reports of:

Since upgrading to Mountain Lion and Safari 6, I've been plagued by the intermittent issue of Safari quitting without notice or reason.  Doesn't happen all the time, doesn't generate a crash report, no "Safari unexpectedly quit...", no nothing.  The only constant is that it always quits when I tap to open a link in a new tab.  Open context menu, select "open in new tab"and *poof* gone.  When I restart, the last few links I opened aren't open, but everything else is fine.  I continue on my way until it happens again.

I know about the 1Password bug, but I don't use 1Password.  I thought it might be the Javascript bug, but Java is up-to-date and the sites are always different.  Sometimes netflix, sometimes (often, because I'm, well, me) eBay, sometimes google, etc. etc.  Flash is also up-to-date.  Anybody have any ideas on this one?

Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type of copy / paste:   ~/LIbrary/Caches/

Click Go then move the Cache.db file from the folder to the Trash.

    Try Safari.

If that didn't help, startup in Safe Mode

A Safe Mode boot takes longer then a normal boot so be patient. This will delete system caches that may help with Safari crashing.

Once you see the Desktop, click the Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click Restart then try Safari.
