Is iMessage down right now?

The server maybe down, seems like there are a couple of users having issue with imessage.

Yep, it's down for me too (in Canada as well).

Down for me to...this really *****. Deployed in Afghanistan and only way to talk to family.

Down in India too. Starts, but very erratic before going down again.

It's down for me, in Michigan. I tried turning off imessage and back on. and it says "waiting for activation" under where you turn on and off imessage. Must be a server thing

Use TextNow or Facebook Messenger from the App Store. Both are free and high-quality apps. Will allow you to text over EDGE, 3G, and WiFi to talk with your family.

i am on verizion network and having no luck with imessage right now, all my texts are failing

my friend with AT&T is having the same issue, must be something with the imessage

I'm on AT&T, and none of my iMessages went out. Went to settings and turned it on and off and nothing happened. So I'm gonna with everyone else and say the servers are down. Thanks for the responses.

Yup. Me too. It's been spotty this morning in Southern California. As of this moment I can iMessage only a few users out of my current feed of conversations. Weird.

on WiFi and O2 (UK) 3G and GPRS is failing, so looks like an Apple problem and not a carrier issue.

Down in New York - has been for a few hours. I have several open iMessages "sending" for hours. Verizon is my carrier.

Nothing to do with your carrier mcm. iMessage is just down period. Wonder if Apple has said anything about this yet
