Have you tried an android phone? The question may be silly to you but the SG3 has a lot to offer and I'm not going to just stick with a device because it's the trendy thing to do. If you have some info on the SG3 I'm overlooking, I'm all ears. The iphone 5 is built very well but apple didn't add much with this new release.

It was just too big for me and I found that it lagged and froze quite a bit. I've never had any issues with my iPhone. So I decided just to take back the SG3 and pre-order the iPhone5.

You have not shown disrespect for Apple or questioned Apple's policies, most likely is the reason your post remains.
You asked a valid technical question and the discourse has been technical.
Maybe future questions will receive answers you find useful.

Its mainly personal preference in which os you like more imo but theres a few points you could consider
do you like the big screen on the SG3 or would you rather have one thats just as long but thinner to fit a easier in one hand / your pocket?
Did you prefer iOS experence better than droid?
Is the expandable storage useful to you or would you do just fine with fixed storage?
do features like voicetime siri imessage and icloud appeal to you or are you content with the equivilents on droid?
anyway if you can't decide you could always wait til theres enough stock of the 5's around then pick one up and take it back if you would prefer to stick with the GS3
