Q: WIFI Issues on New iPad with iOS 6

I am havering the same problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Might have known something would get screwed up!!

I am having the same issue on iPad2 will not connect to wifi.

Having the same issue. New ipad. upgrade from 5.1.1 Did the upgrade on home network fine. Came to work and getting booted off with access through router only to apple home page.

Add me to the list also guys.

Iphone 4 works fine.

Ipad 3 WILL NOT HOLD A WIFI CONNECTION FOR MORE THAN 2 SECONDS.

We all essentially have bricks unless we revert back to ios 5.

I wanted to fill you in on a HUGE problem with the new ios 6 update.

My iphone 4 updated without a hitch.

My ipad 3 on the other hand has a HUGE PROBLEM. It is essentially a brick without wifi (since the device relies on wifi for just about every task).

There are currently hundreds of a users within the last 2 hours reporting the same error on the apple discussions site.

What happens is simple:

1. Download and install the update on Ipad 3.

2. Try and connect to your normal wifi connection.

3. It will connect for a few seconds and than fail stating "no internet connection available"

4. It is no a brick without wifi accessibility. (unless we revert to ios 5)

I have tried resetting my router. Resetting settings on the ipad. Renewing the ip address both LOCALLY and through the WAN at the cable modem and rebooting all of my networking equipment (ie: router), I even tried doing a complete wipe and re-install of ios 6 fresh. You guys know I am a tech geek from my background and I have tried everything so I just wanted to fill you in on this potential problem for apple.

Same issue here. Ipad 3, simple ios6 update and no Wifi. I expect more from Apple...

Renew the lease and set the HTTP Proxy to Auto

Fixed it: turned off Wifi, reset Ipad, turn on Wifi... Good to go!

Still goes out when it sleeps but seems to come right back. Not perfect. But usable!

Try forgetting your network, then rejoining - that's what finally did it for me!!!!!
