Q: Am I the only one having ios 6 ipad 3 wi-fi issues

after my update to ios 6 I tried to set up the ipad and it was unable to join the network....so since then I have reset the network settings, NO SOLUTION!... tried messing with my wireless router settings and switching different channels NO SOLUTION!! , and also reinstalled ios 6 to see if that was the issue....NO RESOLVE!

I have come to terms with the fact that my ipad was fine and connected easily before ios 6 with ios 5, so its not my router or wifi settings.....and my ipod touch 4g was updated to ios 6 as well and it connects absolutely fine to my wifi now.....SO SO FAR I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE UPDATE!

I had an odd workaround for this problem. I connected to the net over bluetooth to my imac. Then went to the icloud settings and aggreed to there new terms. that fixed it. I think apple wanted you to agree to these new terms before letting you continue but this processed kept you from getting on the net. If you cant do the bluetooth option then as some on eariler suggested delete your icloud account or maybe try sutting off icloud until you get wifi setup

I had the same issue, however I went in to my wireless settings and choose "forget this network" and then I signed back and problem went way.

FYI I had to do it few times :)

I updated to iOS6 and my Wifi was working find - then I downloaded the iBooks iOS6 update. Once iBooks installed, it asked if I wanted to sync my library, I choose no and from that point, I experienced the same phantom Apple page that pops up when you try to join you wifi network. I went back into iBooks and this time choose to sync and now I don't have any wifi connection issues. Everyone seems to be experiencing the same wifi connection problem, but the causes seem to vary. I back tracked and mine was the last app updated. We are all iOS6 beta testers today!

You know, all of a sudden all of the "fixes" are working which didn't work 30 minutes ago (I know I tried them all). I wonder if this was something being served out somehow from Apple which caused the issue which is now corrected? Is this possible.

I had the same problem with an iPhone 3GS after upgrading to iOS6. I solved it by removing the profile (General settings/profile/remove) and reinstalling it.

Apple can now reimburse me for the 50+ messages I got, all on this subject while I was on my very limited data plan.  What a complete FAIL for Apple.  Steve Jobs must be rolling in his grave.

Forget WiFi network, reboot and re-enter WiFi password.  Worked for me.

Yes this is possible.  I agree, all the weird fixes are "working" meaning everything is back ot normal now.

I was experiencing the same problem with my iPhone 4S: connecting for a second and then getting rerouted to the same Apple "login" page with the message "hmmm, the page you're looking for can't be found."

I proceeded to shut down and reboot all my routers and, once my network was back up and running, reconnected the phone. The problem seemed to repeat itself for a second or two and then suddenly resolved itself, meaning that the wifi bars disappeared for a few seconds and then reappeared. So far so good now.

I hope it's not too good to be true, but simply rebooting the wifi network seems to have solved the problem for me.

    Best of luck!

I had the WiFi problem in my home network then I turned off Passbook in the iCloud settings and all is fine now, possibly slower but working.  I have an iPhone 3G and a Airport Extreme 3rd generation.
