Q: Am I the only one having ios 6 ipad 3 wi-fi issues

after my update to ios 6 I tried to set up the ipad and it was unable to join the network....so since then I have reset the network settings, NO SOLUTION!... tried messing with my wireless router settings and switching different channels NO SOLUTION!! , and also reinstalled ios 6 to see if that was the issue....NO RESOLVE!

I have come to terms with the fact that my ipad was fine and connected easily before ios 6 with ios 5, so its not my router or wifi settings.....and my ipod touch 4g was updated to ios 6 as well and it connects absolutely fine to my wifi now.....SO SO FAR I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE UPDATE!

thanks guys! i just did the same thing. Enabled and disabled "auto join" than connected. Waited about 10 seconds and that weird white apple html page came up for a split second and I guess authenticated. Now it seems to be working great!

    Thanks for the help fellas.

I guess the problem lies during the initial icloud login setup when initializing the new install package. ( you know, the screen when it asks you for your icloud info, your photo share info, etc. the initial setup screen) I think there is a glitch where it tried to access that funny white apple html screen behind the scenes but realizes that the router hasnt connected to the internet yet and therefore prevents the device from being authenticated. In essence preventing it from holding a wireless internet connection until the white crazy apple html popup is finally authenticated. sorry for my bas explanation but I am sure you guys who are really diving into this problem now know what i mean.

    cheers fellas

I'm experiencing similar issues on iPad 3 and iPhone 4S, both updated to iOS6, both connecting to network and showing full strength signal, but simply stopping after a few minutes at best.

I closed all my apps, turned off wifi, and turned it back on. All seemed to work fine, until I launched the AppStore. Closed all apps again, restarted wifi, and stayed away from the AppStore. Connection now appears more stable, so my guess is that the AppStore app is some how've causing these wifi issues...

this worked for me too, thanks!

I just seemed to have resolved this on my 2 iPad's

Here are the steps I took to get it working.

    1. Do a reset by holding down the Home + Power until the Apple logo came up.
    2. Go to General-->Reset-->Reset Network Settings.
    3. Now open Settings-->Wi-Fi--> Pick a network. just cancel if the Login / Page cannot be found comes up.
    4. Tap the little blue arrow next to the Wi-Fi you connected to and then tap Forget his Network.
    5. Now just tap on it again to join.

At this point I connected and did not get that Login / Page cannot be found a second later the Wi-Fi indicator showed up next to the iPad in the top left of the screen.

    I'm back on!!!!

Tried on 2 iPad's and 6 Wireless AP's i had to forget each and EVERY network to get each to work on each of them.

    I FOUND A SOLUTION!

You only need to start Siri and tell her that Steve Jobs is turning in his grave - this imidiatelly restores the Wi-Fi access.

Same problem here, now I can´t connect to my home network with my iphone..... I thought it was an airport problem but reading the comments the issue is with the ios 6, why I have to change my entire net configuration? I think is apple the one that has to fix this and fast.....

If you go to settings , then forget the network you used originally. Then reselect the network and put your password in again it should work

Nothing has worked for me so far on my iPad 3. My iPhone 4 is back on wifi just fine. I've tried all of these 'fixes'. Maddening.

I'm still down, connecting to TKIP encrypted network gives me "Incorrect Password", though I'm sure of the pw and even reset it.
