FIRST things first, i KNOW that the youtube app was removed from ios.

SECONDLY i CANNOT download the app from the appstore because it is only for the iphone, therefore, horrible quality and small screen for the ipad. I cannot live without my youtube, and on my browser, youtube? No,, just no.

iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G, iOS 6

There is no magical answer. What help do you expect here. The app is gone. Either download one of the YouTube apps in the App Store or use the mobile YouTube site in Safari. It still works there - it really does.

BTW.... Look at the scads of other discussions going on about this right now.

I think that, at this point in time, your only option is to open Youtube in Safari.  It works fine for me, and it's almost as large as the old separate app.  You can add a direct link to your home screen.

You might have it turned off in Restrictions. Go into Settings > General > Restrictions > make sure Safari is turned ON.

Try and reset your handset: 'Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings' and see if safari comes back but I doubt it wouldn't be on your phone probably hidden in a folder. Check it's not disabled in restrictions: 'Settings > General > Restrictions' and/or swipe to you right from the main home screen to see the search screen and search "Safari". It should show you if it's on the phone. You can also then bookmark/save to you homescreen the youtube webapp if you don't like googles new iPhone app on the app store.

    Hope this helps!

Open Safari, type 'YouTube' into the search box or type the YouTube web address into the address bar, when YouTube is open press your favourites tab ( the one that's a rectangle with an arrow in it immediately left of the address bar) in there you will see a YouTube type screen app that says ' add to home screen' press it and the YouTube icon appears as an 'App' on your screen. Press and hold the 'App' until they all start shaking, if you want to move it to where the old YouTube App was!

but i dont use safari as my browser...

What do you use? Chrome? YouTube should work just as well in any browser. And since YouTube and Chrome are both Google, i may work best there .

Jasmine is a good choice. YouTube app is available now. A couple of similar apps here.
