Q: Am I the only one having ios 6 ipad 3 wi-fi issues

after my update to ios 6 I tried to set up the ipad and it was unable to join the network....so since then I have reset the network settings, NO SOLUTION!... tried messing with my wireless router settings and switching different channels NO SOLUTION!! , and also reinstalled ios 6 to see if that was the issue....NO RESOLVE!

I have come to terms with the fact that my ipad was fine and connected easily before ios 6 with ios 5, so its not my router or wifi settings.....and my ipod touch 4g was updated to ios 6 as well and it connects absolutely fine to my wifi now.....SO SO FAR I AM VERY FRUSTRATED WITH THE UPDATE!

Thank you! Downgrading to firmware V2.0.21 worked for me! It's definitely a workaround, not a fix, but that's just what I was looking for. It sounds like enough people have this problem that Apple will hopefully be working on it.

My company has a hidden SSID. We use WPA TKIP.
resetted network settings
turned off wifi and restarted device
managed to change the proxy server to auto, after many attempts
still no luck

I have the iPad 3 and a netgear router. I've literally tried every single troubleshoot method on here plus a few others and its telling me "unable to connect to xxxxx" it refuses to connect to my home wifi. Now I can't take it to apple till Monday because the new iPhone comes out.....real smooth Apple. Well I'm gonna leave this useless brick at home and go have a drink.

Ditto to the connection issues. My iPad 2 (Original) 64GB continually disconnects from the Wifi network and will not reconnect. I've rebooted the router, rebooted the iPad, many times each and no luck. My iPod Touch 2nd Gen on iOS 4 still connects with no issues, my MacBook Pro, multiple Windows machines, Android phones with no issues. Just the iPad on iOS 6. It worked fine on iOS 5.1.1.

Definitely an Apple issue in iOS 6...

Yes, taking WGT624 V3 to 2.021 worked for me as well.

wow this just work for me with the WGT624v3 router...I am connected via wifi now ans showing the wifi symbol ....BUT I have to have safari open a full page it seems stuck on stupid

its saying safari can not open page because the server stopped responding

whats this mean?

nevermind I cleared history and cookies in safari too renewed the lease...and boom got it working!!

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME, GREAT WE FIGURED THIS WORK AROUND FASTER THAN APPLE DID LOL!

the second I click on the link bro it brings me right to the download page, its in the yellow box on the right side, its the very bottom one....but here is the link for the download hope this helps, save it to your desktop and install from there once in your router settings

a register box will pop up first before itll download, just put info and any purchase date, the serial is on the router itself, one downloaded unzip and save it...let us know if it works
