Updated to iOS6 and Passbook returns an error stating "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" after hitting the App Store button in Passbook. Does anyone know how to get Passbook working? I have an iPhone 4S.

Thanks!

The Passbook and iTunes Store servers are both being overloaded right now, and a lot of users are reporting errors with Passbook.

Be patient, and it will be working fine within the next few days.

You can force it to work by going into settings > general > date and time > turn off autmatic > set the year a year out.

Still, there are only about 6 - 7 apps that are Passbook compatible, so there's not much you're missing at this point.  It will be up to the App Developers to make their apps Passbook ready and that will take some time.

What I do not understand is I have two iPhone's 4S one is mine the other belongs to wife.  Passbook works on her phone but not mine that is what made me do all this searching.  I updated my phone first then her phone.  Two different computers and two different iTune accounts.

I guess I'll wait and see what happens

The Problem: you get an error when you select App Store in Passbook. the error staes "Can not connect to iTunes."

The Fix: Close Passbook (dbl click the Home button, long hold the Passbook icon, tap red X) and change your date to 2013, Setting > General > Date & Time. Turn off Set Automatically and the "Set Date & Time option appears . Heads up, changing your date ahead by a year may cause your email to throw up a pop up or two. Hit the button to go back to your Date & Time. Hit your Home button and open Passbook. It should connect. Now go set you date back, you can just select Set Automatically.

I installed the Target app and signed up for coupons, it allowed me to test Passbook with having to purchase anything.

    Hope it helps....

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I tried every which way and still can't connect to iTunes Store.

Changing the date on my iphone 4 did nothing.  I can't access the app store through Passbook.  I tap it and nothing happens, no message, nothing.  I try to delete Passbook with the long hold and the x never comes up for that or any other app on any screen.  I thought I could work around it by doing it on my macbook pro with iphone connected and it is grayed out and wont allow me access to my apps either.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks so much!
