I bounced a song to mp3 to test what it sounded like and then went to add an extra part in, it is not muted or anything and plays normally with the rest of the song in Logic but that part is missing when I bounce the track again to mp3 and listen to the mp3. Is there something I am missing? I'm new to Logic.

Also the song sounds quite different after bouncing and listening to the song via my same headphones through the laptop compared to the sound from it being sent to my mixer via usb and mixer monitoring. Is there anyway to get it similar? I get this problem in Garaband too. It's like all the effects I have put on are not noticeable after converting to a regular mp3 or video file.

Logic Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Is the missing track by any chance using Logic's arpeggiator? If so please note that arp tracks have to be bounced in real time bcause they need real time Midi clock, when bouncing offline these tracks will be missing.

Also check if all tracks are set to "Stereo Outputs 1-2" before bouncing.

Try a real time (online) bounce instead, everything you hear during the bounce will be on the bounced track, that way you have more control over what you're actually bouncing.
