My Harman Kardon BT Headphones keep cutting out intermittently. I found that the music would stop streaming to the headphone but it would continue playing on the phone. To get the music back I had to keep pressing the play button on both my iphone and headphone and it would eventually come back. Is it an issue with the 5 or is it my new headphones?
Had issues too. RESET my Jawbone Icon per online PDF and removed from iPhone and re paired no problem now.MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion, iPhone 5 32GB iMac 2.93 (2)

I just unpaired it, but now its having issues detecting my headphones. When it picks it up and I try to re-pair, it says it's out of range. Gonna stop figgeting around with this till I get home. Not cool.
Thanks for your suggestion. I'll update when I have it figured out.

To update, re-pairing did help a bit. It still cuts out occassionally but not a frequent as before. Thanks for the tip.

I have the iPhone 4S and these headphones cut out on me also. It has to be a headphone issue as my two other bluetooth devices don't suffer this issue.

Just read up some more about the iphone 5 and it does not support bluetooth ATPx? That is just rotten. looks like nothing we can do about it unless we buy an external adapter.

At the time of my post, I was on OS 5 not 6 and also I was using and iPhone 4S not a 5. To confirm there was and issue, I paired them with my Samsung Galaxy S3 and my Asus Transformer and the issue appeared in each device. The Bluetooth signal just drops after sour 15 minutes of use but the device is still playing just no audio from the headphones. I swapped three units and they all did the same thing. I also have a Motorola S9 HD and the LH HS-700 and these two devices never gave me the troubles I experienced with the Harmon's.

I just bought the Harman/Kardon BT headphones. Having the same issues and iOS 6 is very likely the problem:
On iPhone 4S and iPad 4gen running iOS 6.0.1:
- audio skips and stutters when skipping/advancing tracks
- audio drops out frequently (goes slient), only by pressing play/pause twice on the headphones will the audio come back after another stutter.
- On iPad: audio frequently goes silent, or signal gets disrupted for a few seconds when I'm positioned between headphones and iPad (I'm within <10ft away)
On iMac (Duo Core 2) running OS 10.7.5:
- No issues (thankfully!)

Perhaps you missed the fact that I was able to reproduce the same issues on android devices and not able to produce the issues with other Bluetooth headsets.

Hello, there is a similar problem using Iphone5 and blackberry BT headset HS-700. This is a brand new headset, that was working grate with Samsung Galaxy and Iphone3GS, but now I have Iphone5 and it doesn’t work right. They sync and connect right, but when I use Siri to make a phonecall, I don’t get any sound.
