Sep 25, 2012 5:20 AM in response to mkmimmsby wjosten,Your logic board will have it's own SN, separate from your computers's SN. Called the EEE or logic board number. The EEE number is the last 3 of the last 4 numbers/letters of the logic board SN, IE: e801513wefpua, the EEE number is fpu. That's what you want to look for. It will be on a barcode, and is NOT necessarily what Courcoul references.

Sep 25, 2012 7:48 AM in response to mkmimmsby mkmimms,I am new to the community. How do I award them points and let others know that they solved my problem? Any assistance will be appreciated. Thank you.

Sep 25, 2012 7:53 AM in response to mkmimmsby mr da,If I remember correctly you, as the original poster, can see buttons for "solved" (10 points) or "helped" (5 points) on each post in this thread. If you think one or more of these apply, click on those buttons. There may be a limit (one solve per thread? two helps per thread?) but I don't remember offhand.
PS Welcome to these forums!
