I have two iphone 5's. (Also a long time user of the iphone. So not a user fault!)

Black iphone 5 bluetooth works fine.

White iphone 5 bluetooth does not find anything and nothing can find it. (Multiple devices)

Rebooting does not fix anything. Tried full restore, tried wifi off, tried everything.

Whats the FIX? is the phone faulty?

Also +1 on Google Maps  - Apple maps is terrible..

Tried to find a petrol station, 3 didn't exist when I went to them and the 1 I found wasn't on the map. Useless.

Also my friend's house is in the middle of the water... and the traffic layer is less than useless if thats possible.

O and has anyone noticed that the email whoosh sound comes on before the email has sent unlike iOS5?

This is annoying as I thought some urgent emails had been sent and they where just sitting in the outbox! WTX!!

People, While posting here may make you feel better, this site is NOT monitored by Apple.  Yes, someone from Apple may, on occasion, browse here, but you really have to call AppleCare and report the issue. (800-275-2273) It also does NOT hurt to place feedback on this site as that IS monitored.

FYI, I took my iphone 5 into Apple this morning and we verified the lag/sync issue on another IP5.  This makes 3 different IP5s that I know of with this lag/sync issue.  As I stated earlier, my spouses IP4S running iOS6 does NOT have the issue.  I know that this is not exactly the same issue that many are reporting, but the REAL issue is BT in general.  CALL APPLECARE!  Apple needs to know how many people are having issues.

When I called yesterday, the rep hadn't heard of the issue. So,   PLEASE call Apple!

I have real difficulty pairing my new iphone 5 with the 2010 bmw 5-series.

Pairing had been fine with the now discarded iphone 4. The i4 info was

removed from the car as was not needed, and that's the only one bluetooth

pairing with the beamer. I remembered of no pairing issue with the iphone 4-BMW.

Still pairing the i5-bmw after possibly a hundred times.

So, I've got two IPhone5s, one 16 gig and one 32 gig and neither connect to anything bluetooth.  Tried the hard and soft resets.  BT worked fine on a 4 with OS6 installed to culprit seems to be hardware related.

Looks like we'll be making a trip to Apple.

Try re-setting your network settings.  Setting, General, Reset Network Settings.  You will have to re-enter your saved wi-fi password....as this deletes it... HTH!!

Thought I had a similar issue to many on here but followed the 'Read the manual' response.

I made the assumption that searching with the iPhone bluetooth would find my Sony Car Stereo. It doesn't. You need to Pair the two devices by holding down the pairing button whilst Bluetooth is switched on, on the iPhone. Hooked up in seconds and working brilliantly.

Opened a ticket with apple today, went to the apple store because the apple care people just kept sending me in circles telling me to do things I already tried. Told them what was going on, what I tried to fix it, and about this support page and they opened a ticket and sent it to an engineer for evaluation or whatever they do. Need more people to do this though. Working in tech support for a software company, I know 1 or a couple software change requests do not really get much attention past the support rep, a dozen or a hundred though on a single issue and we have a problem that needs attention.

I was able to make my Plantronixx work with the iphone 5.

You just need to pair it, by pressing the button on the headset until the phone detects it. Each device may have its own pairing mechanism, but trust me it would work.
