Sep 25, 2012 10:14 AM in response to rowland.jby Epson Mac Tech,Hello, my name is Syd and I am with Epson America.
Occasionally when you upgrade an operating system, the printer queues may need to be deleted or printing system reset. If you have done this already and the printer is on the same network as the computer, please contact Epson support and they can assist. You would want to have any error message or open the Add Printer window if this is not seeing the printer on your network. The direct number is 562-276-4382.

Sep 26, 2012 1:26 AM in response to Epson Mac Techby rowland.j,Hi Syd,
Thanks for your reply.
The printer is connected to the wireless modem- and responds perfectly to the iPad which means therer is nothing wrong with thta link. The modem also functions perfectly for the internet connection with both iPad and iMac-- so the problem must lie with the drivers/software. I can get it to work with the USB cable - though it doesn't give me the option of printing on a CD for some reason, whereas it does call up custo, options whihc I had used with my old Epson printer!) The printer shows up only when connected by cable. I'd like to call but seeing as I live in Italy this could work out more costly than the printer!! could you give me a series of step by step instructions? Or tell me where I can find them?
Regards,
Rowland

The other thing is that if I unplug the printer it still shows in the Preferences Print & Fax window as offline. If I try to Add Printer nothing shows up in the subsequent window.
