Ever since I installed iOS 6, the App Store keeps crashing. Anytime I search for any apps I want to buy it starts to show them but then the screen goes black and it crashes. Anyone else have this same problem? What should I do? It's useless if I can't buy apps!

Steve jobs is dead, and apple will be dying soon. If Steve jobs was here he will never ever let this happens, He will make sure it is working well before release of the ios6 .

I don't know what the guy above is smoking but there were issues every now and then even when he was alive. With a major update, there is always going to be a bug somewhere, but I do hope they fix this one soon too.

@ Supernovali Let's keep this professional, and for your information I don't smoke or drink. It's just my opinion!

Okay, have just tried search when connected to wifi and it works just fine.  Have not found it but I guess it is possible there is a setting that stops a search when only 3G is present?  It works with wifi though.

I am having the same issue on my iPhone 4s, my wifes iPhone 4s and all three of my kids iPod touch 4's.  This is very frustrating.  I feel like this is going un-noticed by Apple.

Does anyone know if they are aware??

There was an issue with Passbook causing the Appstore to crash.  The solution found was to change your date in the settings to todays date, only in 2013. After changing, go back and try to open the Appstore again. If it fails again (which mine did), go to settings and change your date back to today.  It worked after that.  I don't know why, but it did.....

Same thing is happening with mine. My parents ordered the new iPhone 5 and I told them how amazing and awesome the features are, going to be a huge disappointment when they can't even download apps..

great... it's happening to me too.  Tried looking to see if I can change the date but... going into General, and then into Date&Time, there is no option to change the date, only the time.  So, here I am completely frustrated. Does anyone know what will become of this?  Will we be notified directly or do we hear it via word of mouth and such?

How disappointed a lot of people are.  Do you think this will hit all the News stations to alert the public about the many people who are very upset right now? Waiting.... for any kind of answer regarding this Apple Store Search issue.
