Sep 26, 2012 5:34 AM in response to diane fokasby Knucklesmac,Hello,
Where did you buy your battery from and how much did it cost you?
Some of the really cheap batteries just don't work. Have you set your power setting in Mac OS X as best battery life, while using the battery?

Sep 29, 2012 7:32 PM in response to diane fokasby dalstott,It looks like this battery is practically worn out. Less than half original capacity and 226 cycles. This is not in any way a new battery and it will function in it's limited state for a while and then fail.
I hope you can exchange it or get a refund. I have had good experience with Other World Computer for Mac laptop batteries.
