I have done the latest update on my Apple TV and since then I have a blinking light

I waited for the update to finish without interupting it. Just had this blinking light flashing for about an hour before I decided to unplug it and plug it back in.

What I have done so far:

  1. I have restored Apple TV through iTunes. Did this twice, once on a PC and the other time on a Mac.
  2. I have rebooted Apple TV without a Network cable. When I do this I manage to get into the main Apple TV menu screen. Unable to select WiFi networks becasue Apple TV is unable to find any networks. If I plug the cable in at this stage the TV goes black and I get the blinking light again.
  3. I have had a look on my router and can see that the Apple TV is connected and given an IP address. I am also able to ping Apple TV.

Any suggestions welcome!
