Q: 25,000 song limit in iTunes Match

I was going to buy iTunes Match, but it is only good for 25,000 songs.  I have downloaded my entire CD collection into iTunes and have significantly more than that.  The limit seems pretty arbitrary. How can I select which of my songs are mirrored to the cloud?

Windows, AMD 64

By deleting the extra ones from your iTunes library.

However, you might want to shop around a bit.

iTunes Match costs $24.99 a year and has a limit of 25,000 non-purchased songs.

Amazon Cloud Player Premium costs $24.99 a year and has a limit of 250,000 non-purchased songs.

I added the Amazon Cloud Player and am very happy with the results.  Apple should minimimally double the limit of non-iTunes purchased songs, if Amazon can provide 10x the storage for the same price.

    Glad it worked out!

Couldn't agree more. Love to see the limit increased now that Apple Music keeps bothering me about song limits.

    Conrad,

This thread is three years old, and it hasn't happened yet, but maybe it will.  Some of the recent articles about Apple Music hinted (unofficially) that the limit may be increasing.
