I followed the directions on how to move my itunes folder and moved it from my internal hard drive to an external one. Once complete, everything repopulated fine with the exception of my apps for my iPad and iPhone. Whenever iTunes attempts to add my apps (and there are quite a few) it keeps coming up with an error. Anyone have any suggestions? I plugged in my iPhone and my iPad and transferred the purchases from the devices but that only gave me a fraction of what I have. I am quite frustrated about this. Secondly, my iTunes will not recognize the CD names and track names anymore as well. I'm really not sure what is going on. Any help is appreciated.
So with a lack of help from users, i decided to play around with it myself. Should anyone have this issue in the fucture, for some reason itunes doesn't like the apps being on an external hard drive. Simply put them pack into the original itunes folder on your internal hard drive and add them into itunes. It should work fine then. Guess i'll just keep my apps there and my music, movies and books on the external.
