Q: Cannot login on Safe mode

My Mac was stuck with the shift key down (everything was in upper case and I was getting symbols instead of numbers.)

I tried to restart but it has diverted to safe mode and I cannot enter my password to log in, I know for serctain that my password is correct, but I believe this may be becasue I have pressed something on the keyboard which I is making it locked on caps (my password is lowercase).

Please help!!

Check this, go to system preferences>universal access>keyboard, and make sure sticky keys is checked off

If it booted to Safe Mode, the shift key must be physically stuck or the contacts below it are stuck.

You're going to need a spare keyboard while you work (or let someone else work) on that one.
