I know that Snow Leopard and older machines do not support iCloud etc. but have been happily using a work around provided by GarryRobson (many thanks) posted on October 18th 2011. This involved setting up a CalDav account on the desktop using server address p06-caldav.icloud.com.

To date all had worked well both on newer machine and iPad as well as older iMac (running OS 10.6.8). However, I am now seeing an error message:

"The calendar https://p06-caldav.icloud.com/102235697/principal/ was not found on the server. Make sure the URL is correct." Is there anyone who can suggest an explanation/cure, please?
