I need an alarm to wake me.  Also to remind me to do simple tasks throughout the day.  How do I get the chime to repeat rapidly for about a minute or until I turn it off?  Right now it just does a single blip.  Isn't an alarm something that goes for some duration?  I can get this to work with Pester since it allows me to choose the number of times I want the sound to repeat. Only problem is Pester won't save my settings.  I would like something that allows me to use different sounds for different tasks.  Something programable and savable like ical.

I am using the older version of ical that came with my OSX 10.4.11.

Pleas help me with this.  I've been searching almost all day and downloading various applications- most of them too complicated for what I need.  I finally found Pester but when I close it I lose all my time settings and it will be troublesome to reset.  It is true that ical has an alarm but a single chime might not be heard.

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.4.11)
