Q: Upgraded to iphone 5 - Icloud - Can send from .me address but not .icloud

I can use the drop down and send from the .me address but when I use the default *****@icloud.com address I get an error "The connection to the outgoing server "p04.smtp.mail.me.com" failed. Additional Outgoing mail servers can be configured in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calenders.

Thought this worked before, but now doesnt...

@icloud.com email addresses for @me.com and @mac.com users have not been enabled yet

Ok, the weirdest thing. Went on to the computer and was on my icloud email. Sent an email from .icloud sender to my google and it worked..... It just doesnt work from my phone... should I take off the account and add it back on?

It may have worked for a short period while iOS 6 was being beta tested, I suggest removing your @icloud.com email address from your devices and use the @me.com address until you recieve an email saying that you can use your @icloud.com email address. It shouldn't matter too much as emails sent to @me.com @mac.com and eventually @icloud.com should all end up in the same place.
