I want to start programming iOS apps but I'm confused on where to start?

Hi there 🙂 I'm new to the dev forums and I'm really interested in programming ios apps but I'm confused on where to start? Some people are saying learn C then objective C then Cocoa and some are saying just dive into objective C. I'm also a bit confused when reading books like iphone and ipad apps for absolute begginers? Can anyone please help me and point me in the right direction. Thanks much appreciated 🙂
