I had downloaded 603 pictures from my camera, when iphoto quit while finalizing the process. Th photos are now missing from the camera and I can't find it anywhere in iphoto... Any ideas? iphoto support was no help.

In the future never have iPhoto delete your photos - always keep them and use the camera's format command to reformat and erase the card after at least one successful backup cycle

at this stage your only option probably is to use media recovery software like Media Recover to find and restore the photos on the memory card

I asked the question, and I can now answer it for everyone's benefit: the pictures are not lost!

Even though the photos did not show up in iphoto, they were all in the library. I looked under Finder /  Today and found the files there. By clicking one of the pictures I could see where they were stored, and it was inside the iphoto library. However, I had to copy all the pictures to a folder in my desktop and re-import them into iphoto in order to see them in the software. I'm not sure why that is, but I don't really care as long as I haven't lost the pictures!

Can you please tell me how you did that.  I mean a step-by-step process as I go to finder and cannot seem to see anything save for the IPhoto library.  But when I click on it, it just opens IPhoto.

    Thanks

Never mind.  I used Repair and figured it out.
