Staying at 99%

okay so usually i charge my macbook pro while im using it and sometimes when it gets to 100% i unplug it and just use it on that charge for a minute or so. then i plug it back in and it gets to 99% and says fully charged. how can i get it to 100%? does it matter? thanx!

    Well think of it as a fraction 100.0000/100 whe fully charged - when you are fully charged its 100%, but if you remove the plug, obviously immediately it starts to eat up your battery, so drops from 100/100 to 99.9999999/100, and average it out to a whole integer gives you 99%

     

    (dot notation I use is for decimals)

    Why would you unplug for just a minute or so?  For what purpose?  If you want it to go back to 100% wait till it gets to at least 50%.

    Yeah Why in the world are you disconnecting the charger when it reaches 100%. Stop doing that and it will stay at 100% for a while.
