Q: "iTunes was not properly installed. if you wish to import or burn CDs you need to reinstall iTunes."

I get this message every time i try to open itunes now after updating.

"iTunes was not properly installed. if you wish to import or burn CDs you need to reinstall iTunes."

How would i do this without losing all my data? or is there a quick fix for this problem?

iPhone 4S, Windows 7, 64 bit windows 7

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?

In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

    dvdcd diagnostics.png

    ... and click "Next".

When you get through to the final screen:

    diagnostics complete.png

... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here. (Use your Ctrl-V keyboard shortcut to paste.)
