Q: Can't buy music since ios6

Ever since i downloaded ios6 on to my ipad 2 i haven't been able to buy music and books that i want. Infact, it looks like 99% of things i can't buy. I tap the price and nothing happens! Why is this?!  How do i get this fixed?

Yes, i did make sure settings were correct.

Ok. I get it now!  Phhht!  My iPad and I have to be physically home in Canada to buy anything now.  Since I updated my iPad to iOS 6 something was sent to apple and it knows where I am and as per legal stuff only certain things are available in each country....see here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3599

And it does not matter what your acct is set to.  If you are not physically in the country thats in your acct you will not be able to get stuff.  If you are getting things from I tunes, iBooks, etc. it will happen for a short time only. The second you make some sort of update it will stop. Again, this is due to legal agreements and copyrights.

 

For myself, I hope iTunes and iBooks return to normal when I get home to Canada.

What a huge disappointment that I can't buy what I want just because I am away from Canada for a few months!

    More info...  All the music I can't buy the price is grey.  Only "explicit" music and books are available if settings are adjusted for that.

    I have tried resetting settings to factory default and also completely shutting off my iPad 2 and these things don't work

     

    I had to do the update to iOS 6 while overseas(i am still away) could this be a problem and how do I fix it?!

    I am sooo frustrated this happened!
