I have 9.2.3. and I think this is the last for SL. The next version is for 10.7 Lion and above only and can be bought from the App Store.

For a storage program older versions are fine.
There is the free LibreOffice for drawing/layout and the free GIMP for image editing, so there isn't really a need to upgrade to bloated and crappy 10.7 and beyond.
With OS X getting so strange and downright weird, I'm slowly transitioning over to Windows 7 as many pro users are.
Least I know it won't change suddenly every year like OS X does.
It's like Apple is slowly killing their computers off.
The XRaid is gone, the XServer is gone, the 17" MacBook Pro is gone, the MacPro hasn't seen a update in a long time, the Apple professional software packages are turning into junk...
I think Apple is blinded by iOS and iPhones, is even screwing up them quite a bit lately.
Scott Forstall needs to go.

You need to buy the DVD to install on SL. Then after installing run software update.

Ask that same question on Google. There are some answers that suggest in some conditions Apple will supply it. This isn't a promise ... just a guide.
