I have a Canon printer that I am trying to connect to two MacBook Pro computers running 10.5.8

I have a netgear cable modem and wi-fi router. The Canon can "see" the wi fi but the Macbooks cannot connect to the printer using wi fi.

They will connect via USB cable and I can then share the printer with the other Macbook. So it is not a driver issue.

When I try and connect via System Preferences having disconnected the USB cable the Mac cannot "find" the printer on the wi-fi system.

Thanks

Andy
