Can somone please help? i have mountain lion. before 24 hours after events were scheduled they would automatically disappear.

now i have to manually delete them. it worked in 10.6 and 10.7. is there anything i can do

    Check the settings in Preferences/Advanced

    Hmmm. I haven't got ML, so can't poke around to help you. I see how to do it if you are using iCloud ... Anyway, I'll see if I can send for the cavalry.

    The event retention options have been deleted from the Mountain Lion Calendar application.

     

    As stated by Austin, the only place that I know of that event retention can be adjusted is the iCloud.com Calendar App>Preferences>Advanced:

    Thanks, Ferd. Strange option to be dropped. I think, in case I take a sudden fit and move to ML, I'll post some feedback on it. Maybe you should too, adeanc. The more they get, the more the chance of them listening.

     

    EVERYONE's grandkids are more tech savvy than them. I think even my 3 years old grandson. And I'll be 67 next birthday - I find one's sixties afe FUN.
