Oct 6, 2012 1:35 AM in response to sdanesiby s.salter,Yes, I've had the same problem. I went into iCloud settings and under the mail option I now (as of ios6) have the choice to send email from my .icloud or my .me address. I gave it a shot by sending an email from my iPhone from my .icloud address and for some reason it came back with the error above... Same happens when receiving.

Oct 6, 2012 1:39 AM in response to sdanesiby Julian Wright,Have you had a notification email from Apple telling you that the new address is ready for use?

Oct 6, 2012 2:37 PM in response to sdanesiby MikMalDaddy,Same thing for me. Although my preferences show that I've been granted an @iCloud.com address in addition to my existing @me.com address (and I'm able to lo into Apple services using either), I'm unable to receive any e-mail to the @iCloud.com (any attemp to do so results in a bounce back). To be honest, I don't recall ever receiving any e-mail from Apple telling me that the new iCloud address was "ready," so I suppose I should just give things a few more weeks. It is annoying, though... if the e-mailk address Apple is making me isn't yet ready, it sure would be a lot less confusing if it didn't appear in a list of my existing addresses on all of my devices, etc.

Nov 7, 2012 2:48 PM in response to sdanesiby MikMalDaddy,I finally received an email from Apple today indicating that my new .icloud address was now active. It looks like everything is now working fine... Someday, I might learn PATIENCE... Probably not, though. ;)
