Even though I'm experiencing the exact symptom(please check the link below) with my macbook pro, the apple store refused to repair it because it passed few months more than the covered period. What am I supposed to do? It just doesn't make sense to me. They extended the free repair coverage due to its defect but mine just passed the period a couple of months so they can't fix it for free? Does anyone have the same issue?
