I took it to the Apple store and the door greeter looked at it and said thats just unacceptable (He also thought they didn't have anymore in stock) He then took me over to a Apple Genius to look my phone over. He then took his little inspection tool and dug at it and said it was dirt and basically acted like it was my doing.
I told him it was the adhesive showing from where the glass was installed. He then took it to the back to look it over more and then came out and said they were going to replace the phone.
He then brought me a phone that was already unboxed (It did have the clear plastic film on the front and back) and had me sign that I received it.
I looked that one over before leaving the store.
While the Apple genius I had that time was rather rude, I do like Apple's service where I get a phone right then and there. All the other times I have gone there for phone problems they have been more then helpful.
Hope this helps you
