Hi Guys!

I would bulid my dashcode project. But I don't know how to.

Read many website, tutorial, help, but not found my answer.

My questionis:

Build a new dashcode project with a safari custom template:

dash1.jpg

Next add a button from Library, set the event "onclick"

dash2.jpg

After you will see this:

dash3.jpg

"// insert code here"

What code, if I want to send this snmp command: snmpset -v1 -c private 10.0.1.30 .1.3.6.1.4.1.19865.1.2.1.1.0 i 1

If I write this command with AppleScript editor:

tell application "Finder"

    do shell script "snmpset -v1 -c private 10.0.1.30 .1.3.6.1.4.1.19865.1.2.1.1.0 i 1"

end tell

is working fine. But I want to make with dashcode.

Your question is: what is this?

This is one of my project. I have a small electronics with 8 input and 16 output. The 8 input will have a temperature sensors, and outputs will have a relays.

So I can controll whatever I want in my house.

Please give answer, if you know it.

Thanks: Zoltan

I assume you are creating a web app, coding with JavaScript. Is this snmpset command supposed to run from the client browser session? The browser security model will not let you run arbitrary shell commands, for obvious reasons. You might be able to find an installable component (maybe a Java applet?) that allows this.
