How large should my log files be?  They're over 200gigs...

I'm running a Lion mini-Server.  I was considering getting a new machine and was thinking of the version of the MiniServer with a 250gig SSD drive and a 750gig 7,200rpm drive, but when I looked at my existing setup I realized that I have over 200 GIGS of log files on my current server.  If that's common/necessary I couldn't possibly only have 250gigs my server, there just isn't enough room for the system and a few select items I would want on the faster drive.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
