Oct 9, 2012 9:29 AM in response to hayes34hayesby Christian A. Burkert,Hi there,
the iPhone 3GS has as all iPhones an internal battery. So your only option is to take your phone to the nearest Apple store and ask for a replacement which is free of charge if your phone is still under warranty and for a reduced price is warranty has already expired.
Hope this helps,
Chris

sometimes resetting the phone using iTunes revives the battery. It's worth a try.

Oct 9, 2012 11:27 AM in response to Christian A. Burkertby hayes34hayes,Warranty has expired. Am an electronic tech that knows how to change the battery, just don't know where to buy one. Found one on ebay, but really don't want to go w/out phone till the battery ships here Monday. At&T keeps telling me to call people...but the phone does NOT work....they just don't seem to get it.
Thanx for the feed back.
