When is Apple planning to release a solution for iOS 6?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6

Since this is a user to user technical forum, no one here knows what Apple is going to do about anything. However, what is your problem with iOS 6 on your device. I have 4 iPhones here at home all running iOS 6 and have no problem with any of them.

No one here knows.  We are all just users like yourself.

Sad, I thought I could get some feedback from Apple since this site is from Apple...

My phone still turs on, but is pretty much useless

Ugly looking status bar, ugly looking phone dial, useless new features messed everything up, it's all just a big mess...

Maybe in the US the maps are not so bad, but in europe is just really sad.

I'm about to give up on this thing and get an Android device, but the iphone was really expensive and I would really like to be able to use it again.

So I hoped Apple could let downgrades....

One thing is clear... never ever apple again

Well Apple is not for everybody!

I am surprised, though. Did anybody else experience an ugly or even in any way different status bar? I have not noticed the slightest change and have not heard anybody mentioning anything.

Downgrades are not supported by Apple. Apple does not monitor these forums. I understand their are problems with maps in Europe, many have posted about that. I don't see a solution to what you consider aesthetic problems. It is the way it was designed, and generally only usability problems are addressed in later iOS updates. What got "messed up" as you describe. Again, if it is just something you don't like, versus something not operating, no one here can help you with that. Feedback to Apple regarding problems can be left at  www.apple.com/feedback.

Had you read the Terms of Use of this forum that YOU agreed to by signing up to post here, you would have realized that Apple is not here.  Just users asking for help and other users offering their expertise.

As users here, we really could care less whether or not you choose Apple again.

It seems to me a very technical question to ask if someone here knows if Apple is releasing some kind of solution... maybe someone does.

But thanks for your help.. it has been very.... useless

Apple is always working on updates.  But since we are just users like yourself, no one here is in a posiiton to speak for Apple.

Have you tried contacting Apple Technical Suppor?  Where in Europe are you?

If you're going to be unhelpful and uncaring, just speak for yourself and use the word "I" instead of "we".

Asking for speculation isn't really all that technical...

But, yes Apple will release an update. They always do.

When and to what extent?... Who knows.
