Hi and tnx for reading.

I have iPhoto 11 and using it to synch my photos with iPad and iPhone.

However I have 2 issues that I did not have with previous versions:

1) If I modify my photos on iPhoto then synch with iPhone and iPad, I only have the original photos there without any modification. How can I do in order to avoid this annoying thing? A manual solution is to export the modified photo out of iPhoto, reimport it, cancel the old one, and replacing it with the modified one...however I understand it cannot be the correct way to operate

2) My iPhoto Events/Album Thumbnail are not the same of the synched Events/Album on iOS Devices... on iPhone and iPad they just have the first photo of the Event/Album... so the thumbnails are not Synched. This was not happening a year ago with previous versions...

Thanks in advance for your help.

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.

Look there for the iPod Photo Cache.

Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

    1) why is this not an automatic feature? I mean, do I have to manually trash that folder every time I do modifications and need to sync them or is it supposed to autoupdate automatically sometimes?

You shouldn't have to. This should update automaically.

I see that my thumbnails are not synched aswell. In iPhoto Events/Albums I can select a thumbnail. However, on my iOS devices photo library, the thumbnail is the first photo of the Event/Album. Any chance to syncautomatically the same thumbnail I have in iPhoto

I have no idea. I'd ask that on a forum for your Phone/Pad/Pod...

What I mean is that the Cache should not need to be deleted. You should never have the problem. If it's a once-off then forget about it and chalk it down to 'one of those things'. If it happens persistently then we might need to look at the causes of that. Does it?

I change back the photo to the original and even after 5 syncs I still have the modified one on my iOS devices...

    Can you explain that?
