Q: the battery  on my ipod is out of power and i have plugged it into the adapter and the charging screen is not on and in fact there is nothing but a blan unlit screen any thoughts

the battery on my ipod is out of power and i have plugged in the power adapter and there is no screen message in fact the screen is unlit and blank  any thoughts

    I assume knowing shows on the display at all? How long have you left it to charge?  It can take up to 30 minutes for the iPod to show any signs of life and even then it sometimes still requires a hard reset of the iPod to get it to boot up.

     

    Otherwise, tr a reset. To do this, press and hold both the Select/Center and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
