I have an iPhone 5 that occasionally loses time. It falls behind about 10-11 minutes. Any ideas or anyone else experience this?

iPhone 5, iOS 6

Let me guess you have Verizon. I have same issue as well as many others. It appears to be a Verizon bug. I have open ticket with Verizon and Apple. If you set clock to manual you shouldn't have an issue.

I reported several times yesterday which prompted both companies to open tickets. They also looked at the following forum and realized it must be a big issue. I can only help by reporting when they tell me. Also, you can go into settings > about and if you get a pop up screen then your phone has been updated by Verizon. Of course connecting to iTunes and check for update wouldn't hurt. Call Verizon customer service ask for ticket to be opened. I will try and update this blog.

    Verizon (800) 922-0204

iPhone forum: the forum seems to have been removed. Ironic since they say its Verizon.

Have you updated your phone to 6.02 OS? This update is for IPhone 5 only.

I haven't had an issue since I had my phone replaced under warranty. I think there is a bad batch of SIM cards out there.

Are you suggesting to replace the iPhone?

I would only say that I no longer have the issue once my phone was replaced at an apple store. They did not use same SIM card neither.
