I have read many of the discussions regardign issue to do with Mountain Lion and it is not good enough for someone to say you should have backed up before you installed ML. If it had been a Beta version I would fully understand that the onus was on mw taking the risk of a Beta version but this was a paid for upgrade. My computer has been giving me grief ever since i upgraded from Lion to ML and no amount of checking and testing is resolving the issues. I have been constantly losing work and it has also cost me much time and money.

I am a big fan of Apple, but this is TOTALLY unacceptble and something needs to be done urgently. It is no good giveing us access to issue that relate back to 2011 we need answer that are relvant to now 2012!

Please Apple treat this and your loyal supporters with a little respect and resolve these issues as a matter of Urgency!!!

You're not talking to Apple here, just other users like yourself. If you want help tell us the issues, if you want to talk to Apple file feedback here.

Ok fair point...does anyone have any suggestions as to how to solve the ML issues, almost all application at some point get the wheel of death, forcing me to have to restart the computer. I don't need someone advising me to go and look at a website dealing with issues from 2011 when ML hadn'r been issued. I never encountered a single issue with Lion or it's predecessors.

How much RAM do you have?

How much free disk space do you have?

    Any other symptoms?

What model/year computer do you have?

What third party apps are you running?

What anti-virus app are you running if any?

Have you tried starting in Safe Mode and see if the problems still occur?

    Restart holding the "shift" key.

(Expect it to take longer to start this way because it runs a directory check first.)

If this works look in System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login items and delete any third party login items (-), you can always add them back with the (+). Also look in /Library/Startup Items. Nothing is put in that folder by default, so anything in there is yours.

What version of Adobe? Reboot to repair (hold cmd+r when starting) and go to Disk Utility and Repair Disk then Repair Permissions.
