These instructions won't work for me. Not with the library that is with the permission problem anyway.
I do manage to open the iPhoto with the option key hold, select a different library, close it and then reopening it with the OPTION + CMD combination, opening the "Photo Library First Aid".
But if I swich back to the library with the permission problem, all I get, no matter how many times I've tried is a popup telling me the permission problem.
This is really anoying and frustating. Isn't there another way of opening this 'first aid' utility?
This library is in an external drive in my local network mounted with NFS. I've been using this setup for over three months with no problem until a crash that just happend, and I can't open or fix my library anymore.
Please! Any help is apprettiated. And I repeat the OPTION+CMD holding (for over a minute even...) is not working. I've tried opening from the dock, from a finder window, from Alfred... it just won't open when the compromised library is the default.
I could find a few 'lock' files inside the library (iPhoto Library folder), not sure if deleting them would help or make things worst:
$ find . | grep lock
$ find . | grep Lock
