Macbook retina disappointing quality

I "upgraded" from a 2010 13 inch macbook pro to a retina macbook pro. The case makes crackling noises when moving/lifting like it is lose and I have several dead pixels in the screen. I am very disappointed with the overall build quality especially for the price point. Apart from the nice screen, I can't say I would recommend anyone bying it.

    Pretty common just the dead pixel issue. That gets you a warranty replacement of the screen. Set it up so they have the parts in hand before giving them your MBP so you don't have to do without it. WHile they are at it make sure they fix anything that is loose inside. Like anything this complex, and selling so many thousands of units, they have their share of problems. You are right to make them get it right!

    New product line can have some bugs. Good to see Apple resolving them in your favor.
