Oct 12, 2012 7:54 AM in response to simonesimmoby imobl,Wait until the 72 hours has passed and try again.
How was the iPhone unlocked? Has the iPhone been
reported as lost or stolen by the previous owner and is
now blocked from the network?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?

Oct 12, 2012 9:35 PM in response to imoblby simonesimmo,It has been 72 hours. It still displays the same message. The phone was unlocked by the previous carrier, who I am unsure of. The phone is not stolen or lost. When I go to Carrier, it says "Automatic" (Automatically finds carrier" Thats all! But I discovered something, when I went to Settings>General>About it says my carrier is Optus (it is) but it doesn't show it! Is that a sign that it reconises the sim card but it is not truly activated?

Oct 13, 2012 6:59 AM in response to simonesimmoby imobl,Sounds like a problem with either the SIM or the way
Optus has your account provisioned. I would recommend
a visit to an Optus store/kiosk so they can test/replace
the SIM and verify the settings on your account while you
are there.
