Oct 12, 2012 5:27 PM in response to stevekrilichby Demo,I had a similar experience some time ago with my Comcast/Xfinity email account. Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Comcast email account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

Feb 26, 2015 3:10 PM in response to Demoby Piscean54,I was having the exact same problem. I changed the password on the incoming mail server, but did not change it on the outgoing mail server, so I was getting mail, but couldn't send it. Thanks for the help!
