Q: When is there going to be a fix for this? This is totally ridiculous. I didn't have any of these problems before updating to itunes 10.7. Come on Apple!

When is there going to be an update to fix these conflicts? I haven't been able to open itunes without the registry CD dvd burner message since installing itunes 10.7. I can't sync my phone. Man this is a bummer! The suggested fixes are helpful, but seem to create other problems. With one fix It seems as if I can open itunes without the registry message coming up, but then I and lose the use of my cd dvd burner. The other fix allows me to have my cd dvd burner available, but the registry message appears and I can't sync my phone. Uhhhhhhhhhhh! This is driving me crazy. I shouln't have to look for firmware to update my cd DVD burner. Instead of itunes recognizing my phone. It recognizes it as a camera. What is this? I never had these problems before updating the to OS6 and itunes 10.7. I need some help Apple! There has to be a better way to solve there problems.

iPhone 4, iOS 6

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?

In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

    ... and click "Next".

When you get through to the final screen:

... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here. (Use your Ctrl-V keyboard shortcut to paste.)
